Welcome to the Cathedral of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Hamilton. The Cathedral by the people of Hamilton, for the people. It reflects faith, generosity and hard work of the Hamilton Diocese. This Cathedral a building of the 21st century, redeveloped in 2009 creating a more modern cathedral while sustaining the purpose of the old cathedral, to be the focal point of the Catholic Diocese of Hamilton. 

This Cathedral stands in order to give Glory to God, to remind all of those who pass by of the presence of God in their lives, and to be a Sacred Place where the Church gathers to worship God and spend time in prayerful contemplation of the Divine Mystery.

    Sunday: 7:30am, 10:30am, 6:00pm

WEEKDAY:
    Monday-Friday: 6:30am 
    Tuesday-Friday: 12.05pm
   
Monday 12.05pm: Liturgy of the Word
with Holy Communion (but not Public Holidays)

Reconciliation: 
Tuesday-Friday: 11:30am-12:00pm
